vs Overkill (Keswick)

3 games deep into this tournament, and we started getting into a roll at our friendly compounds of Slo-Pitch City Diamond #2. However, just like all Provincial Championships there are many good teams present. Some were counting the games before they can play us and letting us know about it!

But first, this game. A win puts us into Sunday's Playoff Round with no losses. Our opponent must have thought they had something on us, because they insisted on playing shallow and got burnt many times. Mazzulla capping it off with a 2-RBI triple off the fence in straight centre.

Our defence didn't let up, most notably at 2nd base with Phil Mazzaferro playing a strong mature 2nd base.

Our pre-game team huddle had us pumped. Everyone was contributing from our lead off batter to "LAST BUT NOT LEAST....PEDRO "H" TO THE IZZO, "J" TO THE JIZZER JOE AMATO!"
